With 12 years of experience at World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters and most recently
as a technical officer at the Department of Nutrition and Food Safety, she coordinates various
programmes that are aimed to generate and use data towards reduction of foodborne diseases.
Her past portfolios included foodborne antimicrobial resistance and optimal use of antimicrobials in
foodproducing animals, integrated surveillance of AMR by taking One Health approach.
