Symbol Mark, Logotype/Mascot Character/Link Banner

   The banner for linking to the website of Hokkaido University’s WISE Program for the One Health Frontier Graduate School of Excellence (https://www.onehealth.vetmed.hokudai.ac.jp) is at the foot of the page.

 

Symbol Mark

  This mark expresses a man hugging animals so that people and animals will become one. It also means nurturing (hagukumu in Japanese; its pronunciation is similar to “hug”) the future. The mark represents the concept of “One Health,” which is the name of this program.

 

Logotype

   The below is the formal logotype of Hokkaido University’s WISE Program for the One Health Frontier Graduate School of Excellence.

Logo Mark

   A combination of a symbol mark and a logotype is called a logo mark. 

 

Mascot Character

   This is the mascot character of this program, named “OH-chan.” It was designed based on the letters O, H and F, the initial letters of “One Health Frontier.”

 

 

Using the Logo Mark, Character and Other Symbols

   The following people may use the symbol mark, the logotype and other symbols.

 

 

Those Who May Use

  1. Faculty members, officials and students involved in this program (hereinafter referred to as “Faculty Members, etc.”)
  2. Schools and departments related to this program
  3. Other bodies that are approved by the Public Relations Committee of this program to use them

 

Scope of Use

   The scope of use is as below. However, usage may not be permitted depending on the circumstances.

  1. The documents, prints and website published by this program
  2. Stationery created by this program
  3. Materials used by Faculty Members, etc. for the operation of and education/research activities in this program (name cards, envelops, letter paper, templates, etc.)
  4. Other materials deemed appropriate by the Public Relations Committee of this program.
