5th International Chemical Hazard Symposium took place on February 3rd.
This was a joint event with Japan Society for Environmental Chemistry, Branches of Hokkaido-Tohoku, Chugoku-Shikoku and Toxicology.
Research presentations covered the topics about chemicals contained in our daily-use-products and their effects on animal/human health, as well as poisning diseases such as Minamata Disease, one of the famous and historical heavy metal poisonings caused in Japan.
It was very educational! Full of useful information on what would be happening to our body when we are exposed to chemicals.
Let's try to be more environmentally friendly...!
